Description

Produced from 1987 to 1992 and while winning three World Superbike Championships, the Ducati 851 was one of the most advanced high-performance motorcycles in the world featuring an 851cc L-twin engine with liquid cooling, four-valve Desmodromic cylinder heads, and electronic fuel injection. This European-spec 1990 example was imported to the United States for display in 1990 and remained under the care of the same owner. It was recently on display as part of an exhibit in a major automotive and aviation museum. Impeccably preserved with only 726 kilometers (451 miles) on the odometer, the legendary Italian superbike is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
