Records show this Gold Star left the factory on the 7th February 1956 as a 350cc in Touring trim. It was later changed to Clubman specification with the fitment of a genuine Gold Star 500cc engine dating from 9th October 1959. In good general order this bike was re imported to the UK in 1988 from the USA. Since then it has only had one owner being part of a small bike collection. In recent years the bike has seen little use but has been maintained regularly. In good working order it has just received a full check over by a BSA specialist and supplied with an MoT until Sept. 2010 a dating certificate from the Gold Star club and the UK V5C logbook.
