| Bentley Motors Ltd. Introduced the Turbo R in March 1985 based on the earlier Mulsanne Turbo model. Suspension was uprated over the previous model including the addition of a Panhard rod. Wider tyres mounted on alloy wheels were a first for Bentley. Within a year the 6.75 litre V8 gained Bosch MK Motronic fuel injection giving it around 300bhp. Some 4600 of the short wheelbase model were produced up to 1994.
The car we offer was first registered in April 1989 and has had a total of four keepers, the last two in the same family. The original leather wallet contains the handbooks and service books. Entries show that it was serviced at Rolls Royce dealers until the end of 1995 and since then by Nene Specialist Cars of Peterborough, being last serviced by them at 114,000miles. The cars has upgraded front brakes with large discs, high level rear brake light, alloy wheels with low profile tyres. Present mileage is 116,000 with an MoT until July 2010. Body colour is Cobalt Blue with white fine lines plus “Red Label” badges. The interior features Dark Blue carpets, top roll and seat piping along with Magnolia seats, headling, underdash and rear shelf.
