The Aston Martin V8 was first introduced in Volante form in 1979 and continued production for the next 10 years. Its engine is the very powerful yet reliable 5340cc Aston V8 engine which first appeared in the DBS back in 1969 and was reputed to have produced 315BHP from its four cam configuration.
