ChromeCars just threw the track day to end all track days

Our friends at ChromeCars recently held what they billed as ‘The Ultimate Track Day’ at the historic Hockenheimring, attracting a world-class selection of significant historic racing cars and downright sexy modern supercars. Thankfully, they took their photographer with them…

The ChromeCars Xperience

The ChromeCars Xperience was a relaxed, weekend-long track day at Hockenheim bringing together owners of both historic racing cars and modern supercars, most of whom were hitting the circuit for the first time since the widespread coronavirus lockdown several months ago. And with no noise restrictions to adhere to, the selection of desirable cars that was let loose on the historic German circuit was nothing short of breathtaking. The automotive roll call included a Jägermeister-liveried Porsche 962 Group C prototype, the famous flame-belching Interscope Porsche 935 Kremer K3, a stunning black modern Ford GT, the ex-Stirling Moss 1953 Tojeiro MG and a howling Ferrari 458 GT3, to name but a few. Oh, and a sextet of black Ferrari TRs. Because why not? If participants were a little rusty after several months away from the racetrack, the three-time Le Mans-winner Marco Werner was on hand to help them get their eyes back in. A joyous time was had by all and ChromeCars has already announced an even bigger 2021 edition of its ‘Ultimate Track Day’. For now, enjoy these spectacular photos from the Hockenheimring.
