1973 Porsche 911S 2.4-Litre Targa Coupé
Chassis no. 9113310370

•One of only 925 911S Targas built
•Matching chassis, engine, and transmission numbers
•Professionally restored by Serge Heitz
•Porsche Certificate of Authenticity
•Expertise of 280,000 euro (2014)

For 1972, all Porsche 911 variants received the 2.4-litre (actually 2,341cc) engine, by which time the 911S featured the stronger Type 915 five-speed gearbox and 6"x15" alloy wheels as standard. Maximum power output depended on the destination market, and this particular car has the desirable 'full power' 190bhp engine. Epitome of the F Series, the 911S raced to 100km/h in 7 seconds and had a top speed of 230km/h; even the contemporary 911 Carrera exceeded its top speed by only 15km/h. For 1974, production switched to the 2.7-litre G-Series model, which was the first 911 to incorporate the large impact-absorbing bumpers - disliked by many purists - for whom the '2.4' is the last 'old school' 911 and therefor all the more collectible.

Finished in Gulf Blue chassis 9113310370 was one of three 2.4S Targas delivered new to Holland. Featuring an elegant black interior, this 2.4-litre Porsche 911S was imported to France in 2015 and comes with a full expertise carried out following the restoration valuing this wonderful example at 280,000 euros. Also available is the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity with noteworthy features including sports seats, Fuchs forged alloy wheels, and Koni shock absorbers.

In the mid 2010’s, a full 'nut and bolt' restoration by was carried out by the renowned Porsche restorer Serge Heitz in France which means the car is in impeccable condition. The current owner bought the car from Porsche Berlin in December 2014 with a 19,500km and has since used it sparingly in the South of France at a secondary residence and the car now shows a little over 22,000km. Otherwise always dry stored and only driven on sunny days, the car is in the same condition as when it left Serge Heitz.

Whilst in France, the car has had maintenance and work carried out by Porsche specialist HPRS in Cannes. Invoices are available and latest inspections also which show no noteable defects.

Comprehensively rebuilt and finished in this striking Gulf Blue paint, this beautiful Porsche 911S Targa represents a wonderful opportunity to acquire an example in virtually 'as new' condition. Available for viewing at the Garage du Panorama on an appointment basis.
