Beschreibung

An utterly exquisite example of the Aston Martin DB6 MK1, painstakingly restored by marque specialist Nicholas Mee and with an increased capacity 4.2 litre engine completed by the best in the business RS Williams.

We believe this to be one of the finest examples of a MK1 DB6 available, having had just shy of £300,000 spent on its total restoration in 2018 and several thousands of pounds more on maintenance since. The restoration was, of course, well documented by the team at Nicholas Mee and so accompanying an already impressive history file is a detailed breakdown of all works undertaken, including an impressive £67,500 respray, which looks phenomenal over the DB6's stunning shape.

Aston Martin undertook an extensive redesign when launching the DB6, having had great success with its predecessor the DB5. The wheelbase was 4 inches longer than before and so they developed a boot spoiler to help keep the car composed at higher speeds. It was very much a model that was designed to appeal to a wider audience, integrating more luggage space and a decent amount of room for four people, but without compromising on the fact it was a sports car and a DB at heart!

This example will be sold in perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition and we believe it will make the finest of motoring companions for many years to come.
